2% Lugol's Solution in a colored glass dropper bottle. Contains 2% Iodine crystals and 4% Potassium Iodide in distilled water. If one assumes 20 drops for each milliliter (metric drop), that equals about 2.50 mg of Iodine/drop. You can put a drop or 2 on your skin and see how quickly the red colour disappears to determine qualitatively how deficient you are without ingesting it. There are several recommendations online, I have found if the iodine spot disappears in only 8 hours, you are highly deficient, if 24 hours, are not as deficient.
