The iodine and potassium iodide crystals are in the bottle, just fill with DISTILLED WATER ONLY (just a few milliliters) to the bottom of the neck of the bottle and replace the cap and shake every 30 minutes or so, you will fill bottle immediately become very cool to touch...in the morning it will be fully dissolved and you will have 30ml of the most concentrated Lugol's Solution at normal room temperatures.
 
The liquid will be a little lower when fully dissolved which permits space to screw pipette cap on the bottle.  This 46% Lugol's Solution of iodine and potassium iodide provides 58mg/drop of total iodine (assuming 20-drops/ml). Lugold Crystals have been designed for those taking large dosages of iodine per day (100s or 1000s of mg per day) to save some money.  Each bottle has 600 drops, for someone taking 100mg/day this will last most of a year or 300 days.   It comes with extra graduated glass dropper.
  
 The 30ml dropper bottle contains 13.5 grams of elemental iodine and 27 grams of potassium iodide which is 34 grams of pure iodine (or 34,000mg). If distilled water is not used all of the iodine salt will not dissolve.
